In 2016 I decided to enter my first Pole Dance Competition in February at Pole Theater Paris which it was a good experience to have terms of comparison with other events. Later in the year I decided to apply to Pole Fusion Festival in Brussels organized by Sarahcademy. I had a great time at the studio preparing for this competition. I love the creative process and also I knew my weakest points and worked hard to improve and challenge myself. I am not a competitive person so I enter the competition to have another experience, to have a great time and to show my work, to perform! So by surprise, I got 3rd place at International Pole Fusion Competition! Just one day before traveling to Brussels I had a very awful incident (my car just burned in the middle of the highway!!). It was a very unpleasant moment to have before something important and that I was working on for long time. So the next day all I wanted was to have a great time in Brussels with friends and dance my heart out at the competition. And so I did! Pole Fusion Festival was really well organized and a nice atmosphere! I had a wonderful time on stage and got great conditions. The poles were so well cleaned and this gives you confidence. Of course there is always some tension because you are being judged but I enjoyed that the judges were sit like the audience and that is somehow what I am used to, to dance not to compete but to perform! I am so grateful for this moment. Give your heart and trust the universe! Below find the video and some photos of that day! I hope you enjoy as much I did!
